Rafael Arcaya Cruzado
Rafael Arcaya Cruzado was born February 28, 1945 at Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. His father moved with his family to San Juan, the country’s capital, in 1949. He attended primary education at Colegio Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit College). His secondary education was obtained at the Universidad de Puerto Rico High School from where he graduated in 1964. His college education was obtained from the University of Puerto Rico obtaining a degree in Business Administration in 1968. Then worked for the government for
seventeen years and from where he obtained his license as an Authorised Real Estate Appraiser. He would later, (1989), establish his office after returning back to the town where he was born. He was married to Awilda Santoni Cordero for thirty years until her death in the year 2000, and from that relationship three children were born. Héctor, Sergio and Mariela. Héctor gave him two grandsons, Diego and Marco, Mariela, two other grandchildren, Fiona and Raylee, Sergio a granddaughter, Mikaelle, who was abducted through the Puerto Rico Judiciary system in 2015, never to be seen again.
